    Meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month 11:45am at Barrington Terrace, 333 16th Ave Se, Largo, FL. Beverages are
    provided, bring your own lunch. The committee works to
    publicize the Area Agency on Aging's SENIOR HELPLINE and to
    encourage the public to use the service.
Ambassadors Group

    The I&A Committee also operates the Ambassadors Group
    which helps new members become acquainted with BLS. They
    welcome new members, hold a new member reception, answer
    any questions new members have and invite them to upcoming
    events.
   
Public Education, Advocacy & Networking (PAN)

    Meets at 9am the 2nd Tuesday of every month at Heron House, 2050 East Bay Drive, Largo. The PAN Committee
    operates the Speakers Bureau for BLS. They maintain a list of
    qualified speakers on various subjects available to meet
    requests from the community. The PAN committee raises money
    to award Health Care Scholarships each year. They also conduct
    the Chomp N' Chat networking breakfasts.

    Meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Area Agency on Aging at 9887 4th St. N., Ste 100, St. Petersburg at 9am.
    COECHA is the committee on Education for the Community
    Health Agencies. In 2006 COECHA joined forces with BLS and
    Partners in Care Committee. In addition to focusing on
    Education needs, they work to provide needed services to the
    aging population by inter-relationships between private sector
    and public sector organizations in Pinellas County.

    Meets the last Thursday of the month at Cypress Palms, 400 Lake Ave, Largo at 9:30am. The PR Committee is responsible
    for the creation and production of The BUGLE, the quarterly

    information. The PR Committee also is responsible for the
    content of this website.


All members and non-members are encouraged to

network and to help you find a committee that matches
