About Better Living for Seniors (BLS)

Founded in 1988 in partnership with the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc., the Better Living for Seniors (BLS) Consortium is a dedicated network of professionals committed to serving seniors. Our organization, based in Pinellas County, Florida, is supported by a Board of Directors and several specialized committees.

BLS proudly represents over 220 members who are actively involved in enhancing the lives of seniors. Our members contribute their expertise by volunteering on committees, participating in information-sharing events, and engaging in networking and educational opportunities.

This collaborative approach fosters a supportive community where members can refer business and build valuable connections.

The Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, serves as a vital partner, providing essential services to seniors and their caregivers across Pasco and Pinellas counties

February Chomp and Chat Networking Event

Join us for an opportunity to network with fellow Better Living for Seniors (BLS) Members, potentially unlocking new business connections, particularly if you operate in the senior living, healthcare, or community services sectors. As a valued BLS member, attendance is complimentary.

You may bring giveaways for drawings to promote your business. Attendees are required to register online in advance for all Chomp & Chat events.

  • BLS Members - The event is free to attend, but participants must pre-register in advance to secure their spot. Registration ensures that we can accommodate everyone and provide the best experience possible.
  • Non-Members - $10.00 fee must be paid at registration, this fee is non-refundable. (Credit Card only - this is a cashless event).

What an exciting way to kick off 2026! 

This was awesome opportunity for members and guests to connect, collaborate, and build meaningful relationships. A huge thank you to Ruth's Promise Adult Day Program for hosting this wonderful event and creating such a welcoming space for our community! Thank you to all who attended.


An Unforgettable Day of Extraordinary Giving, Live Music, and Community Fun!

A heartfelt benefit celebrating music, generosity, and hope on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Bayboro Brewing (2390 5th Ave S, St. Petersburg, FL 33712).

Doors open at 11:30 AM. Come early for the best spots!

Experience live music all day from an incredible lineup of A-list local, national, and international artists performing on two stages! Plus:

The Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas is dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors and caregivers in Pasco and Pinellas counties.

As a trusted 501(c)(3) non-profit organization since 1974, it is the central hub for aging and disability services.

Connecting individuals with vital resources, their agency strives to create a supportive community network tailored to meet the diverse needs of our aging population.
